Dr. Geoffrey W. Sheen
Geoffrey W. Sheen, CDT, DDS, MS, received his DDS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Certificate and Masters degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry. Prior to the completion of his dental degrees, Dr. Sheen worked as a Certified Dental Technician (in ceramics) and has owned and operated a Crown and Bridge dental laboratory for 35 years.
Currently in private practice in Augusta, Dr. Sheen is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation at the College of Dental Medicine at Georgia Regents University.
He has served on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Dental Technology, the Journal of Prosthodontics, and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr. Sheen has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics which include the following: anterior tooth treatment planning and esthetics, color theory and tooth shade taking, and advanced restorative dental procedures.
Dr. Sheen is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Society.
Dr. Sheen and his wife, Mary, have been married 32 years and have a son, Matthew. Dr. Sheen's personal interests include: church-related activities, woodworking, flying, sailing, and restoring antique wooden boats.
